Overall great holiday place where kids had a blast

Property was huge, lots of different things to do and see, very clean, love the buggies to get us around, huge buffet breakfast, amazing water park!

Couple of small things like tv in my room didn’t work the whole week I was there even after informing the staff that it wasn’t working. Another was the cleaner had taken my daughter’s birthday presents and apparently were unable to locate them to return to her. She was very upset and so was I as I had brought them from home to give to her. The lack of help was ridiculous, constantly chasing up to get answers but nothing was resolved so it left a bad taste in my mouth

Good place, great pool and breakfast. Rooms great, big and clean

It is too big, you need to drive by golf carts, but the personal is friendly and we never waited too long. Breakfast are too far, so if you want to take breakfast and than take some small snack later on it is not possible, they do not even allow you.

Great resort for families. Mai Khao is a lovely quiet retreat away from the madness of Patong.

Hotel and grounds were well looked after. Loved that it is just a 15min taxi ride from airport.

Having to pay for towels at the waterpark when you are a hotel guest with free use of the park. The prices of drinks and food were too high especially as there are lots of restaurants outside a fraction of the cost. Drinks at the beach pool bar extortionate as was the hire of the motorised floats.

Relaxing and Beautiful

The resort is beautiful and modern. All the rooms have aircon and the one we stayed in was very spacious. It was a lovely family holiday at Splash Beach. Unfortunately, the waterpark was under renovation, but they compensated us really well. We will definitely be back.

Great resort with a super fun water park great for families away from the bustle of Phuket.

The resort was beautiful with great open spaces and greenery which was very serene and calming. The waterpark obviously was the main feature for our kids who wanted to do nothing but be in there all day. The beach area also very picturesque. The daily rain showers really cooled things down and the weather was great. Our room was perfect for a family of 4 (2 adults - 2 kids). We had the 1-bedroom with the bunkbeds which worked perfectly. The balcony was great to sit in and take in the beautiful resort grounds. We really enjoyed the fact that the resort was away from the hustle and bustle of patong etc. It definitely felt quiet and island-y which is what we were hoping for. There were some really nice massage places and restaurants walking distance from the resort with a mix of great thai food and food for kids (nuggets, pizza, burgers, pasta) if they're picky like ours were. 7-Elevens were all over the place so we got our fill of random snacks etc as well.

The breakfast felt a bit limited. While there were a wide range of food options to choose from, nothing was really super tasty. The waterpark was super fun and we all had a blast but it does need renovation. I believe it will be closed from the 1st of July onwards for that so good thing they're addressing that issue. The only thing that was a bit weird was that room service will charge you THB 100 if you order empty plates/cutlery to your room to eat in (without any food in it). I've never experienced that at any hotel I've been in but it's a small thing.

The hotel is convenient for the following reasons: - very close to the airport. It is a great option for people who have an early flight the next day. Extend your sleep time and have a short drive instead of a long drive to other beaches along Phuket. - The waterpark is not very big, suitable for families with kids and teens under 15 years. There is a swimming pool located by the beach as well. - The inner roads and the greenery are well-maintained and worth a nice walk at any time of the day. - quiet neighbourhood

Comments related to the hotel/room: - Some of the staff at the hotel are undertrained. - Although the check-in is 3pm, my room was not ready till 4pm. - The furniture in general is clean, but most of it is made of wood, which gives a musty odour. The room has beach chalet vibes. Comments related to the water park: - Access to the park is easy, but the restrictions are unreasonable. You are not allowed to bring in your own towels, any fruits or snacks, or bottles. - The waterpark appears somewhat outdated, but it remains fully operational. Some facilities and parts are old and have not been renovated. - I was lucky that the park was not overcrowded. There are seven slides (I counted the rainbow slides as one), a lazy river, a small beach pool (with no waves), a bar pool, and sections for kids and toddlers.

Peaceful resort, lovely beach

This resort is a peaceful place, placed in a fine distance from noise and traffic. Placed just aside the airport, so easy to reach after long journey, plus lots of fun watching planes landing It is very clean and the facilities are very fine (have potential to be better though). Very good breakfast and fine breakfast restaurant. The food is fresh and tasty, compliments to the chiefs. There are small shops and local restaurants, massage around the corner. Beautiful quite beach, the waves are a bonus and fun, but it is rather not for small children. The quests have free access to a Waterpark. The personal at the reception very serviceminded and competent, with satisfactory language skills. Tan and Au in the Kids Club doing great job, my daughter enjoyed the place very much, thank you. The place is huge, so the quests are offered lift in small buggies, very well organized, thank you️

Might be due to the size of the place, that it is not easy for the stuffl to reach a single guest. Eating in hotel restaurants was always frustration due to waiting time- always. Please make sure, that people get drinks, so they are at ease. Then give the food to the kids. Our Christmas Eve, and New Year were ruined because of the mess with the drinks and food (chefs were busy setting up desserts, while food for the children was still not there). Russian host was... a "surprise" in Thailand. We did not understand a bit. If your kid wants to play at the Kids Club, you as a parent are most welcome to stay at the Club or be in your room just do not take bath. You need to go to the club to check on your kid every hour. I couldnt visit SPA because of that "rule". My kid could be there 2-4 hours never wanted to leave. Staff gest tlf number, why not contact the parent if needed. The Kids Club is open to 18.00, but the kids must be picked up 15-25 min before. Generally lots of staff often seems tired of guests and too busy.

Not bad - nice place, OK vibes

It is very clean and the rooms are nice and big

The staff and vibe is generally a little less friendly than a lot of other thai places. There are millions of signs threatening a 1,000 baht fine for bringing food into the resort, bringing food out of the resort etc. The waterpark prohibits you bringing water in! It’s nice, but not exactly warm.
